Privacy

Audin's Atlas is published by Webhaller Inc. This page covers what we do with an email address when you subscribe. It is short because we collect very little.

What we collect

Your email address, and — so that we can show we had your permission — the page you subscribed from, the time you asked, the time you confirmed, and the IP address and browser string of each of those two requests. That is the whole record. We do not ask for your name.

Why we keep the consent record

Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation requires anyone sending commercial email to be able to prove the recipient agreed to receive it. The record above is that proof. We keep it for as long as you are subscribed and for three years afterwards, which is the limitation period under CASL.

How we use your address

To send you the weekly Audin's Atlas edition, and nothing else. We do not sell it, rent it, trade it, or hand it to advertisers. We will not add you to any other Webhaller publication without asking you separately.

Who else touches it

Two processors. Resend delivers the email and stores the contact list. Cloudflare runs this website and stores the consent record. Both act on our instructions.

Leaving

Every email has an unsubscribe link and it works immediately. You can also write to editor@audinsatlas.com and ask to be removed, or ask for a copy of what we hold, or ask us to delete it outright. We will do it.
